TypeFlow is designed as a browser-based typing test and practice tool. Most typing data stays on your device, but this site also uses Google Analytics and Google advertising services.

Information stored in your browser

TypeFlow stores typing results, settings, weak-key history, practice library entries, and custom practice text in your browser's local storage. This lets the app show your progress and saved practice material without requiring an account.

Custom text that you paste or upload is processed in the browser. TypeFlow does not require you to send that text to a TypeFlow account or server.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand general site usage, such as page views, article button clicks, test completion events, practice mode usage, and device/browser information. Analytics data helps us improve the typing test, lessons, articles, and user experience.

Advertising

Files and uploads

If you upload a practice file, TypeFlow reads it in your browser to create a typing practice. Avoid uploading private, sensitive, or confidential material unless you are comfortable storing it locally in that browser.

TypeFlow is a general audience typing practice tool. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
